Frye's injury is a significant blow to the Suns' playoff hopes.
Phoenix Suns star Channing Frye will be out for the next two to three weeks with a dislocated right shoulder, confirmed by an MRI this morning.

Frye has been a rock for the Suns this season, averaging 12.3 points and 6.6 rebounds a game. He's played in all of their contests to this point.

He was injured in the fourth quarter of last night's game, which you can read more about here.

The injury comes at a tough time for the Suns, who are a game and a half behind the Memphis Grizzlies in the standings. It leaves them without one of their key players for the stretch run.

Suns Coach Alvin Gentry said in a statement on the Suns' Web site he hopes to replace him with Hakim Warrick, who has been playing solid ball for the Suns lately.
