• Un fucking believable - oh wait - this IS Arizona isn't it. What the fuck is WRONG with you people? Arizona is quickly gaining on Florida in the "Bat Shit Crazy" race win the Lunacy Award.

• WTF? Why not just say we'll arrest u while ur still on the table getting the procedure. There is no way they can enforce this unless they examine the products of conception, as the parent u have the right to take them for "burial" as reglion dictates, and to deny examination w/o a court order! Know your rights people, and fight for them. If you don't they will be taken away.

• Indian Ocean? Nah, just set them adrift off the coast of Somalia in a nice yacht, sure, a raft would work, but the yacht would attract pirates, and after a few politicians, the pirates would probably stop altogether, killing two birds with one stone, so to speak.

• It is wrong to trivialize the human rights abuse of girl-children targeted because of their gender or to deny its existence beacuse it remains hidden, especially in certain immigrant groups in the US. The act of "prenatal sex-selection", resulting in selective abortion on the grounds of sex, is included in the official definition of violence agreed at the Fourth UN Conference on Women at Beijing (1995): Governments, including the US at Beijing promised to enact and enforce legislation protecting girls from all forms of violence, including "prenatal sex selection". Hilsry Clinton was there when this promise was made. There is just one clear reason for this apostasy of what was agreed in the Beijing Platform—it is the fear, the growing realization that any condemnation of any abortion whatsoever will expose the paucity of logic and morality in their extreme ideological commitment to abortion as a woman's 'choice', as an absolute right that may not be restricted for any reason or in any way. This extreme ideological position is fundamentally incompatible with the human rights obligations towards children at risk of abortion. According to Kirsten Moore, president of the pro-choice Reproductive Health Technologies Project, when members of her staff recently discussed whether to recommend that any prenatal tests be banned, they found it impossible to draw a line — even at sex selection, which almost all found morally repugnant: "We all had our own zones of discomfort but still couldn’t quite bring ourselves to say, 'Here's the line, firm and clear' because that is the core of the pro-choice philosophy…You can never make that decision for someone else." Proponents of this extreme kind of pro-choice ideology are on a collision course with fundamental human rights principles protecting the rights of the girl-child at risk of abortion. The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child has condemned selective abortion as discrimination against children and as a serious violation of their rights, affecting their survival. The Committee denounces not only selective abortion of girl children on the grounds of sex discrimination, but also goes on in the same paragraph to condemn "multiple discrimination (e.g., related to ethnic origin, social and cultural status, gender and/or disabilities)".

• The Arizona Taliban continue in their efforts to legislate their version of morality. I'd like to see an Amendment to the US Constitution passed that says any legislator who passes unconstitutional legislation more than twice will be stripped of their citizenship and set adrift on a raft in the middle of the Indian Ocean. That should slow down the Arizona Taliban and their hatred of the US Constitution.
