John McCain Says He'll Give No Endorsement in 2012 GOP Presidential Primary

Nobody's getting the John McCain stamp of approval in the 2012 GOP presidential primary -- so he says...
"The Mav" says he's sittin' this one out.

Arizona Senator John McCain said this week that he has no plans to endorse any candidate in the 2012 GOP presidential primary, which may not sit well with some GOPers who stumped for him during his brutal primary with former TV pitchman J.D. Hayworth.

"I think I'm staying out of this for the first time in many years," "The Mav" told Politico this week.

McCain may not be the most popular Republican in Arizona, but nationally his endorsement could help tip the scales in favor of a particular candidate during the upcoming GOP primary.

One of the more obvious candidates for McCain's nod in the 2012 primary is Sarah Palin, who since being McCain's running mate in the 2008 presidential election has self-destructed her way to her own reality TV show.

Prior to her complete implosion, Palin stumped for McCain in Phoenix last summer as he tried to out-conservatize Hayworth in what analysts at one point forecasted to be the fight of McCain's political life.

Another potential GOP presidential candidate who won't be getting a nod from "the Mav" is Mitt Romney, who despite clashing with McCain during the 2008 GOP presidential primary, also campaigned for McCain in Arizona last summer.

McCain, as Hayworth pointed out during the primary, is known to flip-flop on occasion. Despite what he says now, we wouldn't be shocked if come primary season McCain ends up backing former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty, who at one point was considered to be a potential running mate for McCain in the 2008 presidential campaign.

John

Sarah Palin put her ass on the line for YOU and yet you can't answer a simple question " is Sarah Palin Qualified to be President".

John, please explain how this endorsement stuff works, is it to be completely one sided.

Sarah spent time working on your re-election.

Put yourself in her shoe's John for one day.

Grammstanding Colon Panama Canal Zone 1936 so called american soil, naturalized citizen speaks! I am not endorsing any "embroynic" at conception idiots this time around. It's hard enough finding my original birth certificate from the hospital or "Ship" that I was born in. I am not endorsing some dumber than two rocks from Alaska ever again. Nor will stand before the American people with Troy Booty Palin and a thousand Teabaggers treading on thee! I'm going to sit this one out, as like the President said, John, John, John the "campaign" is over. It would be like selling GOP Crack Wolf cookies, my home state GOP is selling enough of that already. Hey has anyone seen Russell Pearce's son, I hear he has a OJ Warrant and is outstanding running around looking for someone named Justin.

McCain's pullin a Palin! She'll do anything to get her name in the papers and he's doing the same thing - He doesn't want to get upstaged by his dictator friend Hosni Mubarak.

John McCain has all my respect but he's getting old and some of his recent policies have been a little off.
