This was the homepage on the KPHO website at 3:23 p.m. today. Oops.
​ As you may have heard, Elizabeth Edwards, estranged wife of former Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards, sadly lost her battle with cancer today. That said, this is what appeared as back-to-back stories on the homepage of the KPHO website this afternoon -- notice the time stamps on each story. Just sayin'...

I don't get it, what's the big "fail"? The fact that they have two stories on the page, one from her alive, and one dead? It's happened before, she gave an interview that broke yesterday, it was still a story that should be published, but she died almost immediately after it was published, it doesn't make the first story about being a survivor any less important. DrSputnik.com has the same thing going on.
