Randolph was the difference in the game, ending the night with 34 points and 17 rebounds. The Suns had no answer for him, allowing him to take 19 shots, of which he hit 15. Gay chipped in 22, including the buzzer-beating dagger that sent the game into OT.
After the game, Grant Hill, who scored 10 points, said, "I'm still in shock by what happened."
It was a brutal night shooting for the Suns, who hit only 42 percent of their field goal attempts and a pathetic 63 percent of their free-throw attempts. Back-up point guard Goran Dragic led the Suns with 17 points.None of the Suns' starters scored more than 11 points (Steve Nash and Channing Frye), and Jason Richardson was especially terrible, racking up only four points on 1 of 11 shooting.
"It was a tough loss," said Hill.
