Cops Find 85 Pounds of Cocaine in Peoria Home. Three Arrests Made

This pile of coke, as well as about $28,000 in cash, was found in a Peoria home yesterday by officers from the Department of Public Safety.
The home, at 8014 W. Yucca Road in Peoria, was the target of a five-month investigation by the Attorney General's Office, and the DPS' High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area unit.
Yesterday, the DPS sprung its trap.
Authorities raided the house and found the drugs and money. They also found two vehicles, which were seized.
Three arrests were made -- all suspects are believed to be linked to a Mexican drug cartel.
In total, 18 drug-related felony charges were filed against the three men, Omar
Carin Murillo Montoya, 35, of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Guillermo
Alonso Palomino Cota, 35, of Nogales, and Benjamin Dominquez Ruiz, 43,
Portales, New Mexico.
