• Well considering Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Methadone, Morphine, Fentanyl and many many many other painkillers used widely in the medical field to alleviate temporary and chronic pain are ALL derived from the poppy plant, some of which are more powerful than even heroin, then obviously yes according to the widespread public its OK for people to consume opiates. She's never had to wear a heart monitor because he heart is barely beating because of the weight that she's lost due to a life threatening illness. I have! That was me just a few short months ago. The wonderful side affects of the 19 pills a day I was prescribed for my Crohn's Disease. Then...a miracle happened. I was told to try marijuana to help with my symptoms. That was June 26, 2010. I weighed myself that morning, at 5 foot 9 inches I weighed only 96lbs. As of today, I am up 30lbs and feeling better than I have in years. I also no longer take ANY prescription medications. So for those of you who voted NO on 203, or who don't support this bill. SHAME ON YOU!

As citizens, it is our responsibility to "own" our government and in this case make laws which are fair and increase the enjoyment of the rights guaranteed by our constitution. I have for many years attempted to limit my purchases of any substance that harms others, either in its production or transportation or sale. Pot is one such substance.
