Phoenix Suns Topple the Lakers and Usurped the Kings This Weekend

In that game, Steve Nash scored 28 points and dished out 14 assists as the Suns beat the Kings easily, 103-89, at US Airways Center. Besides his big night on the hardwood, Nash scored an even bigger accomplishment earlier in the day, as his wife, Alejandra, gave birth to a son.
Nash had another big game on Sunday in L.A., scoring 21 points, handing out 13 assists, and going 7-for-7 at the free throw line. But the game really belong to Jason Richardson, who scored 35 points, who made seven three-pointers and pulled down eight rebounds. Channing Frye came off the bench in a huge way, hitting four three-pointers and racking up 20 points on the night. And Hedo Turkoglu went off with five threes to finish with 17 points.The Suns held the Lakers' Kobe Bryant to 11-for-20 shooting on the night. Bryant finished with 25 points.
