Derek Anderson, Please Leave Town and Never Come Back. Sincerely, Arizona

Hey, Derek Anderson, you suck!
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson achieved one thing in last night's Monday Night Football game: he managed to outdo Governor Jan Brewer in embarrassing Arizona in front of a national audience.

OK, so that might be a stretch -- even a 27-6 loss to the fucking San Francisco 49ers, and the nationally televised tirade that followed, aren't as humiliating as Jan's epic moment of silence (or, pretty much anything about Jan-bein'-Jan).

But thanks to Anderson, Arizona, once again, looks like shit. And, in response, we're asking him -- politely -- to leave town and never come back.

Following the loss, which included a miserable performance from Anderson -- once again -- he was asked by a reporter why he was seen laughing with lineman Deuce Lutui while down 18 points in the fourth quarter. Rather than just saying something along the lines of "I'm not happy with the way I played," Anderson went into an S-bomb filled tirade and stormed off stage. Check it out below.

Here's the transcript:

"It wasn't funny. I wasn't laughing about anything ... Okay, that's fine. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. I'm not laughing about it -- you think this is funny, I take this shit serious. Real serious. I put my heart and soul into this shit every single week. I'm just telling you what I do right now what I do every single week! Every single week I put my freaking heart and soul into this! I study my ass off! I don't go out there and laugh! It's not funny. Nothing's funny to me. I don't want to go out there and get embarrassed in front of everybody. I'm telling you right now -- Deuce and I were talking!"

The nationally televised tirade aside, Anderson played awful. Completing 16 of 35 passes with no touchdowns and an interception earned him a 51.6 passer rating, which is about par for the course for Anderson this season.

But the one interception was a gift -- from our count, Anderson should have been intercepted nearly half a dozen times.

The Niners' secondary had Anderson figured out and found themselves between him and his intended receiver on nearly half of his passes -- and that was only when he wasn't missing open receivers.

Anderson was unable to successfully move the offense down the field. The team had a total of eight first downs and 203 total yards.

The rest of the team sucked, too -- but they didn't have a nationally televised, Dennis-Green-esque meltdown after the game.

The defense gave up 386 yards, including 136 yards from running back Brian Westbrook, who was in for the injured Frank Gore.

The Cards have now lost six straight and are in last place in the NFC West, which is exactly where they deserve to be -- the basement of the worst division in the NFL.

Simply put, the Arizona Cardinals are humiliating -- and we expect nothing less than an embarrassing showing next week when they host the St. Louis Rams. For more Cardinals information click here.

Yeah, because Donovan McNabb is doing really great for the Redskins...The rest of the league had a chance at him too and passed, same with Vick. Do you really think the Bidwills were going to hire a guy straight out of the clink? They would never do that.

Kinda like Warner was tearing things up with the Giants, right?

I'd rather see us getting beat with McNabb out there, if that were the case....

We would of have the chance to get Donovan McNabb or even Michael Vick but, we end up getting this retard? What the hell was Bidwill thinking?

To be fair it was a pretty stupid question. Also, the Cardinals have a lot more problems than an average QB.

Mr. King, the next time you have a bad day at the office it will be expected that you will not smile or laugh all day. KTHXBAI

Football is simply a game played by folks who are exceptionally athletically gifted and paid well, Mr. King.

Mrs. Brewer has embarrassed those of us who claim domicile in Arizona, beyond the ability of anyone else, and the stuff she comes up with will have long range negative effects on many people's lives. In six months the football fans likely won't be affected by yet another losing season in Arizona.

Not even Mr. Anderson could do anything to embarrass us as Mrs. Brewer does. Now, if she can just balance that pesky budget she claimed to have balanced prior to election...

It's time to sit DA on the bench and let Max Hall have at it....even though we know it won't go well. Get him the reps and the experience. There's nothing to lose, because we aren't going to win with DA behind center anyway.

And next season, Whiz needs to give up play-calling. He spends all his time looking at that damn play-card and figuring out what play to call next while the team is falling apart (and laughing) behind him. Let someone else call the plays so you can manage the damn team on the sidelines.

"I study my ass off!"....Yeah, how many times did the cameras show you looking up plays on your wristband? Ok, for a newly traded QB...for someone there maybe a few weeks....

As a "experienced" NFL QB who's been with the team for several months....

Many 'C' students have to study their asses off to get their 'Cs'. Mr. Anderson may have had an 'A' year for a 'C' student. It happens.

At this point, I almost want to tank it and hope for Andrew Luck. I do have to say that the talent on this team, aside from the qb, is not matching up with their record. They should be better but the qb is dragging them down. The defense is constantly on the field and look defeated from the first play. There's some serious playcalling and bad coaching going on too.
