Rodney Glassman's Latest Campaign Video is Embarrassing to Watch; Complete With Rodney Singing Arizona Version of "Sweet Home Alabama" and Dancing Like Forrest Gump
U.S. Senate candidate Rodney Glassman should stick to arid-land-resource sciences because any hopes of a singing career -- or a career in the Senate, for that matter -- were probably damaged beyond repair by his latest cringe-worthy campaign video.

It was a regular WTF moment this morning when we got an e-mail with a link to Rodney's new video, in which he sings "Sweet Home Alabama" with an awful Arizona twist -- all while dancing like your standard out-of-touch white guy who makes his nieces and nephews uncomfortable at weddings.
It's like a car wreck -- you just can't look away.

Earlier this year we ranked the five lamest campaign ads of the 2010 election. Because of recent developments, we'd like to modify our list.
In our previous rankings, Glassman's opponent, Senator John McCain, took top honors for his "danged fence" ad. The level of cheesiness was ghastly. Check it out here.
Congressional candidate Ben Quayle took the number-two spot for his infamous ad where he looks directly into the camera and says "Barack Obama is the worst president in history." Say what you will about Obama, but saying it while staring directly into a camera just creeps people out.
Both McCain and Quayle are now officially off the hook for their awful ads -- Glassman's raised the bar when it comes to lame campaign videos, and he's made it clear that it's unfair to compare professionals with amateurs. That's why our list has been modified. It's actually not even a list anymore -- just a declaration: Rodney Glassman is responsible for the lamest campaign video of the 2010 election.
