Terry Goddard Condemns New Times Article about Brewer's Son -- by Issuing Press Release About It. Hmmm

Terry Goddard's news release today condemning our article today about Jan Brewer's son probably means more people will see the article -- is that what he really wanted?

Terry Goddard condemned New Times' blog post today about Jan Brewer's mentally ill son -- in a press release sent to the biggest blabbermouths in town, the news media.

"The New Times post about Governor Brewer's son is both unfair and inappropriate . Her son is not running for governor. Families should never be subjected to attack, just because they are related to political candidates."

The only thing he left out was a link to the article, which we'll provide here.

Goddard's strong statement about the article seems to reveal a few things:

1. Goddard, the state Attorney General running as a Democratic candidate against Brewer, wants to distance himself from the article. ("Jan, I didn't leak it to 'em!)

2. He wants to make sure nobody writes anything about his personal life or his family, other than about his ex-governor father.

3. He wants to make everyone sees the article.

Whatever Brewer short comings, She is better than the two faced Terry Goddard
Goddard has influence and knows the owner of New Times. That is why NT won't print a story on him. Goddard was put up to exposing the Governor.
The New Times needs to definitely write something big about Goddard, but he does have some ties with NT. NT your readers challenge you to come out with some good stuff. Why don't you step up to the plate and print a whopper? It is only fair to do so considering you printed a story on Brewer's son. How about Brewer's husband who was practicing atropathic medicine without a license? You know where to get the story, in fact, it has been around for a long time. Brewer's husband was even allowed to retire without being prosecuted. Here is the opinion from the document. According to a report in the Arizona Republic, a board member had discovered that Brewer did not receive a naturopathic degree from a college in Los Angeles as he had claimed on his license application{1}. Goddard has the SEIU union protecting him and also the fireman's union. That is why he won't prosecute a former director at DFBLS, Bob Barger for misappropriating $1.3 million of the consumers money. Sure this bimbo got demoted, but he still works within the agency while he is now the CEO of a 501(c)3 company,while collecting a paycheck from the state. Goddard was asked by the fireman's union not to prosecute Bob Barger because it could bring shame upon them. Oh how sad. Barger is now laughing all the way to the bank. He was allowed to "retire" soon to collect his state pension without any penalty and the consumer is left holding the bag. If it is any consolation Brewer also won't do anything about it, so this is one more thing that causes a great concern if she is elected. NT your ratings are slipping, so step up to the plate and do what you do best.
The average ordinary citizen in Arizona isn't running for public office either. It's newsworthy, and politically correct. I think it's Breathtaking Abuse of the Constitution. How does this happen. Ken Bennetts son got off with his "broom" fiasco while camping. Why is it okay for Republican to lay out the dirt, wake up have a I got GOP DREAM. Gather amongst people and sing! He raped her! He raped her too! Just not us! Just not my son, just those people! Well what does he say about it being leaked! Can we have a word with the criminally insane? Or is he too insane to say. Hi Mommy where you been the last 20 years! How about asking the staff! They claim he is sane as one can be!

Someone needs to look into what Goddard doesn't do as an AG. I'm sure he has hidden crimes that would blow it out of Arizona. His union SEIU is protecting him at all costs. Sure hope one day they all go to jail.
Terry of the Terry Barry & Larry fame, you know you did it. Shame on you. What is there to hide Goddard? Brewer's son is a lobbyist and helps her, sure sounds funny to me. How much is he paid and why doesn't Goddard look into it. Here's your chance Terry.
Name one thing Goddard has done in office other than construct a park in downtown Phoenix that had a laser to blind pilots in their flight path? Ended polygamy as he said he would in Colorado City? Stopped the Cartel from operating in Arizona? Stopped white collar crime, including mortgage fraud? Nope! Nada! Get used to Janet Jr. Goddard as your governor.

What "dirty work" are you talking about? Unions are made up of WORKING people who are too busy working or trying to find work to be busy with this alleged "dirty work" you're making up...
Having a son with mental illness isn't a crime & is nothing to be ashamed about!! Misusing state resources and using a state facility to grant him special privileges that others don't get (ie: special transportation & housing at the hospital) while also cutting services to those in the community IS something to be ashamed about! Purposefully turning a blind eye to the mismanagement of hospital funds and EOC complaints at the hospital IS also something to be ashamed about!!
Family members like Goddard said should not be a subject of attack. However, in Brewer's situation her son works for the state. He is a legislative lobbyist and has a vested interest in it all, by helping mommie dearest. Goddard has a few skeletons hiding in his closet and they should be brought out. He is associated with a union that protects him and does his dirty work. The New Times has plenty on this funny man, go for it!
New Times you should be ashamed of yourselves. Don't you guys realize that your characteristic snarky sarcasm does nothing but discredit yourselves. I gave you guys a chance, and at every corner New Times just demonstrates that it's silly to take New Times seriously. But then again, you guys and girls are just in it for the page views and masturbatory prose.
And where else is one to send a press release, besides the press? What's your theory, Ray? That Goddard should have publicly condemned the article on Brewer's son by writing a letter and sticking it in his desk drawer? Of COURSE he sent the press release to the press. How else is one to take a public stand on such an issue except publicly?

Terry: It's not because he is mentally insane, it is because he is CRIMINAL mental insane, (kidnapping and raping a woman among other crimes). The public have to know that before making a vote decision . . . Like mother, like son.

Wow. Terry Goddard reads the New Times? Why didn't he read the New Times numerous articles on arpaio? And if he did, he could have taken legal action against our rogue gendarme. After all, he's *was* the state's top cop. But therefore, I agree. New Times should not have attack Brewer's son. Unless, there's enough dirt in doing so, as some already suggested--in nepotism. But in the meantime, I really wish that Leather-Face of our slow thinking Gov. would come back to the debates for a round 2. Maybe she could give HERSELF a second chance at boosting her image as a quick witted professional. You know what I'm saying? And we'll see if that makes any difference, or if the "brain freezing" is actually chronic and worrisome.
Forget reasons 2 and 3. His letter to New Times was wise on his part, to distance himself from the article, and express that he abhors and is above sleazy politics of this nature. Also, his letter wards off the portent of any dishonest whispering campaign accusing him of having something to do with the article. It would not be beneath someone like Chuck Coughlin to begin such whispers and to put such a thought in Jan Brewer's head.

I think Goddard is a man of integrity and he is a true Gentleman. I think that if the shoe was on the other foot, Brewer would have ridden this from day one.
