No Shocker Here: Terry Goddard Demands More Debates; Also, Brewer Declares Debate was Not Her "Finest Hour" -- No Duh

Now that Jan Brewer's proven herself a space-case of a public speaker, her Democratic competitor, Terry Goddard, is renewing his call for a whole series of debates.

The milqetoast candidate, son of former Arizona governor Sam Goddard, would just love watching a repeat or two of last night's gaffe, we're sure. The video of Brewer's senior moment has already become the day's global, failblog.org-esque charmer on the Internet.

"It is our responsibility to give clear information..." Goddard opines in his letter today calling for the debate series. We figure that partial quote says all that he really needed to say.

Meanwhile, Governor Brewer took to the radio this morning to confess that the debate was not her "finest hour."

"It was the longest 16 seconds of my life. But, I'm human, I'm human," she told KTAR (92.3 FM) listeners.

Judging by the Internet article on KTAR's Web site about her interview this morning, the radio program wasn't her finest hour, either:

The difference between her and Goddard, Brewer said, is "I've done something. Terry hasn't did anything. He can talk all he wants, but he doesn't have a record."

"Hasn't did?" This woman makes Sarah Palin sound like Cicero.

Need we add that she's already ruled out attending any more debates?

Where is Brewer? Again MIA.She blames the big spending state budgets and deficits on Goddard.Did she forget the Legislature has been solidly Republican for how many years? How many?

Does Jan Brewer, in her opening statement, qualify as a "headless body?"

Jan Brewer: "I have really did the very best anyone could do", wtf? Then her attempt today to backtrack on her comments about how Arizona has many headless corpses in the desert - she meant in Mexico, not in Arizona! She also questioned why the federal government has sent more national guard troops and money for the border to Arizona recently, making a point to say "it is not enough" - did the Governor forget she asked President Obama in April and May of 2010 to send more troops, aerial surveillance and funding, which he did? Is this the best Arizona can do with regards to governing Arizona? What the heck has Gov. Brewer been doing for Arizona the last year and a half besides working on SB1070 with her closest aides who are in the pocket of CCA? Evidently, not much that she can articulate...

Favorite line of the debate? Hands down, Brewer's statement on what her ascendancy into office meant to the Arizona economy...."and there, but for the grace of God, I arrived..."

In May of 2000 I was pulled for Jury duty. As if that was not bad enough, there was a certain Supervisor of the Maricopa County BOS in the same pool...Jan Brewer. After going through several Voir Dire sessions with her I can attest she truly is dumber than what she sounded last night.

If there is one thing that Terry Goddard didn't do---its not doing anything about our top KKKonstable, the rogue law dawg, the geezer gendarme, the joKKKer, otherwise known as Shurf arpaio(aks "Flaccid"[old]"Fool")......And did I forget adding Candy-ass? Goddard did nothing about the "dynamic duo". And that is just one thing.

Here's what Jan Brewer has "did" - she signed a bill that was drafted by white supremacist groups and later found almost wholly unconstitutional. That's the sum total of her accomplishments.

BTW, can anyone find footage of that press conference for the captured fugitives where she started reading the food stamps prepared statement? That wasn't exactly her finest hour either.

She makes George Bush Jr. look like William Jennings Bryan.

And what exactly has Jan Brewer did? She was a lackluster Supervisor and was a perennial joke at the legislature. Terry Goddard, although he has no balls or spine, has been Mayor of a large city and Attorney General of a State (and he was actually elected to those posts Jan).

I like how it's been over an hour since this has been posted, and the usual lot of Brewer supporters have not surfaced yet. This pleases me. It is nice that those up on their high horse are finally ashamed of someone they believe in. It's about time! Viva Goddard!
