Arizona Cardinals' Situation Goes From Bad to Worse; Leading Receiver Steve Breaston Out With Injury

Steve Breaston will be out for a few weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
If you were under the impression that things couldn't get much worse for the Arizona Cardinals, guess again.

It's reported this afternoon that wide receiver Steve Breaston will be out the next few weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus.

The news was first reported by Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports 910 radio.

The news is especially troubling for the Cards because, unfortunately, Breaston seems to be the only receiver quarterback Derek Anderson can hit somewhat consistently.

Breaston leads the team in receptions with 14 for 183 yards. Not to mention the 10 points he saved the team in week one against the St. Louis Rams. The Cards went on to win the game -- barely -- thanks primarily to Breaston's Steve-Tasker-like hustle on defense.

The Cards already are short-staffed in terms of receivers. Larry Fitzgerald isn't 100 percent following knee and wrist injuries, and Early Doucet is recovering from a groin injury.

The Cardinals' blog has some predictions as to which receivers Derek Anderson will miss will play this Sunday.

From Word From the Bird:

The Cards did re-sign Onrea Jones yesterday, but even with all his back and forth with the roster, he has yet to play a regular-season game. I'd guess this puts Stephen Williams as the No. 2 and Max Komar as the No. 3, and I was told Andre Roberts had a great week of practice on offense last week. That's a lot of rookies for the trip to San Diego.

After San Diego on Sunday, the Cards host the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints in week four. Luckily, the team has a bye in week six, so Breaston probably will only miss two games.

This is off topic from the other comments but you touch film izle upon it in your post… Concerning E and J, have you considered individual therapy for them? It is really

important that they are able to process, in an emotionally healthy way, these huge life bombs that have been thrown their way. I’m glad to hear that E has a cousin he

can relate to but the great thing with therapists is that they can be completely impartial. hd film izle E and J would be

able to say anything to a therapist, things they might not want to admit to anyone within the family. Addiction is a family disease, so as great as it is to have

familial support, it is equally filmini izle important to have outside, unbiased support as well. E and J may want to check out Alateen as well, where they can meet others their

age who have been through the same thing.

Wait?? Didn't he just come off an injury??
