With all of the hype and attention surrounding the Miami Heat's new super-trio and all things LA, it may be easy to forget that there are 28 other teams in the NBA. Some of which are pretty good.

A partial schedule was released last night, including some marquee games and (amazingly) the Suns didn't find their way onto the slate of high-profile games.

NBA officials know this team that was just two wins away from the NBA Finals, right?

Check out Phoenix's partial schedule after the jump.

While it hasn't been officially announced yet, the word around the NBA is that the Suns will open up the season on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 26.

The team would then travel to Utah for an October 28 matchup against the Jazz.
The home opener would come a day later against the Lakers in a rematch of the Western Conference Finals.

Let's see...three games in four days, two of which are on the road and including a back-to-back against the defending NBA champs.

Can the Suns get any love from the people who schedule games? It seems they constantly get screwed over with mismanaged road games and back-to-back games on a yearly basis.

Another possible game (it isn't official yet) that would surely interest Suns fans is against Amar'e Stoudemire and the New York Knicks on January 17 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day). That game will be in New York, but the reaction of fans when STAT does come back will be interesting.

The NBA has also turned December 25 into a basketball-watching marathon, pitting high-profile teams (such as the Heat and Lakers) against each other. Apparently, the Suns don't fall into this upper echelon as they have the day off. At least they have more time for the holidays.

The full NBA schedule will be released on Tuesday.

If you don't have season tickets yet, start saving your money for when Miami comes to town. It surely will be quite the scene.
