These clowns did not realize that having Arpaio Thomas and their minions as a common enemy has united people across party lines and none of this has anything to do with illegal immigration!</p>

• <p>I just wanted to put it in print so I could visualize it all weekend!<br /> From my lips to God's ear is what I say. Kunasek is correct to ask Thomas not to run further. We will see if his ego or common sense is running the show.....after being found guilty by a Pima County judge of doing these types of things for political purposes you would believe he would stop...apparently Thomas believes he is above the law.. a dangerous position for someone in charge of a State's legal resources. Andy is dangerous. Thomas is a failure once again. Withdrawing is the best decision he could make for himself. </p>

• <p>I am a precinct committeeman in District 19. Recently Andrew Thomas addressed our group and Andy Kunasek follwed him. Thomas had left. Kunasek intimated about these events but was not as specific as this letter. Mr. Kunasek was well aware of the treament of others long before this year. It was only after it was done to him did he start to have a concern and unfortunately that concern is more about himself than the others Thomas has harmed. If the state bar does not suspend Andrew Thomas ability to practice law PRIOR to Tuesday than they are condoning these eggregious actions and we as citizens could and should force them to remove this corrupt individual from the practice of law. Mr. Thomas cannot continue to explain this away. If this is a conpiracy as HE claims then it is so widespread against him withdrawing from the race is the only choice he has. The ego of Mr. Thomas will not allow him to stop at this point. This and all the facts mounting against him make him unfit to serve the state of Arizona. We need an Attorney general who is unemcumbered by his own personal mess and can serve the citizens. Thomas has lost the confidence of his fellow Republicans, the voters and hopefully the State Bar of Arizona. All those junvenile unhappy faces signs are the intellectual level of Thomas. Andrew Thomas is corrupt, unethical, evil and unfit... this the part in the movie where the bully gets his and the timing could not be more impeccable! </p>

• <p>I have long believed and known that the Maricopa County BoS was complicit in creating the monster called Arpaio. They simply allowed his abuses to go unchecked as his corruption grew and grew. Arpaio's budgets should have been audited every year. Arpaio's purchases should have been audited every year. Arpaio's legal claims paid out to persons abused should have been taken from the MCSO budget as a means to force him to keep his ship tidy. The PR budget and staff for MCSO should have been unbudgeted. Arpaio can run his budget, but pull the budget for excessive PR. Let him find it elsewhere. </p> <p>The BoS just gave Arpaio whatever he wanted and turned a blind eye when he abused others. Now that the BoS had the gall to question Arpaio on budget and suggested that he be subjected to audits, they are now the abused and they FEEL it.</p> <p>In many ways the BoS members are getting what the deserve. However, living in the past is not productive. Right now, the BoS is very much aware and understanding of the pain and corruption that Arpaio can and will inflict by abuse of his office with the help of Thomas and Hendershott, etc.</p> <p>The BoS are people that have been awakened and are actively assisting in investigations of Arpaio and company. They are now true allies in the defeat of Arpaio, Thomas, and others because they are standing up against evil-doers, finally.</p> <p>Andy Kunasek's letter is well written and seems to be backed by fact with reference to recordings, etc. In looking to the future for Maricopa County, I am comfortable that Kunasek is part of the eventual solution. All we can change is the future and I hope that Kunasek and others on the BoS have learned that they must never allow corruption to flourish against others as they watch unaffected. Corruption grows. If you allow it to grow, sooner or later, it will negatively affect you.</p> <p>As far as the justice department investigations, 18 months is not too long to wait based on how these investigations ususally run. Roger Clemens was just indicted. That has been going on for a long time. It is also clear, to me at least, that Arpaio and company continue to violate peoples rights and abuse their office in an ongoing basis. Kunasek's free talk was recent and seems to be potentially damning. Adding it to a list of other infractions just takes time. Hendershott's July diatribe about Kunasek's ongoing investigation is also something else to look into. </p> <p>We will see something from the DoJ, not as soon as we like. The wrongs here are simpley too massive (not a shot at Hendershott) to ignore. </p> <p>Thanks to Andy Kunasek for the letter. I hope that it comes with an understanding that when corrupt and abusive behavior is seen, it must be dealt with immediately. As Kunasek pointed out, abuse of our justice system is catastrophic to society. That applies to any abuse, not just to BoS members. As our representatives, the BoS should encourage and fund policies to get tough on crime, but should have zero tolerance for abuse of the powerful law enforcement offices such as MCSO and MCAO.</p> <p> </p>
