Kiddy-Porn Production and Distribution Ring Busted-Up in Yavapai County

Yavapai County Sheriff's Office spokesman Dwight D'Evelyn tells New Times 29-year-old David Antonio Rodriguez was taken into custody last week at his house where police say he's spent the better part of a decade producing and distributing kiddy-porn over the Internet.
D'Evelyn says police got a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that Rodriguez was peddling porn over the Web and conducted their own investigation.
The YCSO's investigation led to a search warrant for Rodriguez's home where officers hit the kiddy-porn mother load.

Through the course of the investigation, D'Evelyn says detectives learned Rodriguez had been molesting children ages 5-14 -- with whom he was an acquaintance -- for nine years.
Rodriguez was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on multiple charges including 7 counts of sexual contact with a minor, 1 count engaging in 3 or more acts of child molestation, and 17 counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains in-custody without bond and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
