• <p>I think there needs to be a little perspective from both sides here. What Young did was wrong. No one, including him, is disputing that. He admitted it. For this generation of young adults, that's a lot in and of itself. He's taken responsibility and is going to suffer the consequences of his actions. That should be enough for everyone, especially to those who aren't closely involved, i.e. his or her extended family.</p> <p>That being said, maybe whoever outed his wife as the whistleblower may have gone a little overboard. Again, that's not for anyone but the authorities to decide. Nothing negative has happened to Young's wife so a lawsuit of any kind against anyone would go nowhere. Especially when there's no proof as to who is posting it. Accusing his family is pointless and not right. They are not the ones who made a mistake. </p> <p>The base point for this whole thing, is that no matter what, another family has been torn apart due to poor choices. Kerby Young's life is forever going to be changed. His family's lives will forever be altered. He made a mistake that is going to cost him everything. Again, while his choice was definitely not the right one and I don't condone it at all, he deserves pity just as much as his wife and the neighbor he was taking pictures of. Not the judgemental criticism of people who have nothing to do with it. Just leave the family be and let Kerby Young and his wife work it out on their own. </p> <p>By the way, voyeurism is an invasion of privacy. That doesn't make them a sexual predator in my mind. A sexual predator is someone who acts on their urges in a way that physically harms other people. It may to you, but as long as I have curtains up in my house, I'd rather live next to a man I know is a voyeur than a man I know is a registered sex offender. Either way, knowledge is power. If something doesn't feel right to you, do something about it. Don't wait two years to turn it in when it will most benefit you.</p>

Mr. Wonderful does not come to mind. What are the chances that these are the only two times he has shown this type of behavior? He has been caught twice but there may be more violations the law knows nothing about. Since Ann Animas thinks Mr. Young is a great guy, let him move into her neighborhood where he can be free of any judgments. </p> <p>An anonymous person turned in the pictures--how do you know that it is a woman? If the anonymous person has not been charged or arrested then how can they be guilty of anything. Who is judging who? You are judging the innocent. Mr. Young admits to his "unlawful" actions so we don't have to judge his innocence--we know he's guilty. </p> <p>You asked: How would you feel if you were judged by internet commenters if we "reversed the situation?" If I was caught standing on a ladder taking naked pictures of a neighbor without their consent, I would hope that someone would pass judgment and realize I needed help.</p> <p>As for keeping my baseless judgments to myself--Mr. Young has admitted or been found guilty on behavior that is not approved by most members of society...AKA deviant behavior.</p>

There is a pattern of behavior here (Target exposing oneself and using a ladder to take nude picture of a neighbor) which would cause a neighbor, friend, family member or general public to take notice and beware. To what verbage you choose to describe this cautious guard doesn't matter. Most would want distance or protection from those who act out like Mr. Young. • <p>What Mr. Young did or didn't do is a matter of law, and will be dealt with in the courts. The "character and integrity" of whoever turned in the photos are irrelevant. "Common sense" is irrelevant.</p> <p>While I agree that posting someone's name as the likely whistle blower is inappropriate and possibly grounds for a civil or criminal action, I am astounded that LeeAnn and Concerned Citizen think they know enough about Mr. Young or this situation to condemn him as a "sexual predator" and a "sexual deviant" (neither of which apply to taking voyeuristic photos), or that the person who turned him in is an "innocent woman."</p> <p>Unless you are personal friends or family of those involved, you cannot know enough say these things. You are the kind of people I would loathe to have on a jury. Who could get a fair hearing when you've already decided the case based on a few paragraphs?</p> <p>How would you feel if you were judged by internet commenters if we "reversed the situation?"</p> <p>Mr. Young has admitted to what he did, and he will pay for his actions in courts of law (criminal and likely divorce). But please keep your baseless judgments to yourself.</p>

• <p>It's funny how "Anonymous" doesn't want to post their name but they are so willing to post the full name of the innocent wife. Let's remember who the guilty party is--Kerby Young. There is no need to post the names of his wife, children, parents, siblings, etc. He alone is responsible for his perverted behavior so he alone must face the music. With behavior like that, it is no wonder he is in the middle of a divorce. Who wouldn't divorce him? Who would approve of children being in his custody. I agree with a previous post that "Anonymous" must be a relative of Kerby Young. "Anonymous" must reverse the situation. What if her daughter was the wife to this type of man. Would she want her daughter living with this type of pervert? Would she recommend divorce? Would she want to risk the chance of sexual abuse to her grandchildren because of contact with a sexual deviant? Think of the whole picture and do not let family bias warp common sense. </p>

I would be worried about any legal problems you might encounter as you openly accuse his wife without any proof. It is not uncommon for sexual criminals to put things on computers and cameras without the knowledge of others living in the same home. For you to post the name of someone who has not been arrested or even accused by law enforcement is very brazen. It is obvious that you must be related to Kerby Young....maybe now we know why he has issues. He needs to shoulder all the blame and not be pointing fingers at others. Shame on New Times for allowing an innocent person's name to be dragged through the mud....Anonymous' comment should be edited so that Mr. Young's family cannot victimize another innocent woman.</p>

Shouldn't her charater and integrity be questioned? If she was such a law abiding citizen, as described in other stories I've read, one would believe that she would have taken the pictures to the police the second she found them. Turning your head and ignoring a crime makes her as guilty as Kerby Young, in my opinion. That being said, has anyone ever heard of misprision of felony??? Misprision of Felony is the legal term for not reporting a felony when you know it has been committed!!</p> <p> Using this now against her husband to advance in a divorce and custody case shows her true character and integrity. </p> <p>But you know the saying.."Nothing like a woman scorned".
