Justin Upton: Hit his 16th homer of the season.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have their first two-game winning streak of the Kirk Gibson era, thanks to a 3-2 win Tuesday night over the New York Mets at Chase Field. The back-to-back wins also give the D-Backs their first series win in almost a month.

Barry Enright, who was called up directly from Double A a month ago, turned in another fine performance, giving up only one run on five hits and a walk in eight innings. He also struck out eight Mets. Enright is now 2-2 with an impressive 2.66 ERA, easily the lowest on the D-Backs' pitching staff. The 24-year-old rookie from Stockton, California, also drove in the first run of his young career with an infield single.

The D-Backs scored their first run in the third inning, when the streaking Justin Upton hit his 16th homer of the season. Gerardo Parra also drove in a run with a triple in the fourth inning. He eventually came home on Enright's squib hit.

The Mets are now 2-8 in their last 10 games and are in third place in the National League East.
