• <p>I personally do not know this girl or her family. I will continue to pray for the entire family. The beautiful rights afforded me by our greatest document, the Constitution, a document that many before me have died in battle to uphold and to protect, allows me to opine on this subject. I am so sorry if it is hurtful to others that this story has the potential of becomming like so many stories in Az lately. The fact remains that this area of Az has one of the largest murder rates in the world! This is in very large part due to the influx of Yes, the Illegal Alien or if you so need to prefer, the undocumented worker population! This is a fact plain to see on the FBI crime rates data file reports. I guess many are hoing this is not the case; I hope you are right. But open your eyes to a greater problem if it turns out to be the handiwork of an evil band of illegal thugs! </p>

NOR does this have anything whatsoever to do with race. the boy that was eating with her at ihop was mexican. he witnessed the whole thing and then proceeded to give her cpr until the ambulance arrived, saving her life long enough to even get her to a hospital. this is not and should not ever be about race, but should condemn the evil people that manage to somehow still exist in this world when an innocent beautiful girl like her now does not. it wouldn't matter what race creed or gender the driver OR passengers were, nothing is ever going to reverse this or bring her back. so please, the hating is NOT NECESSARY. rest in peace kyleigh, i miss you so much.</p>

• <p>I feel sad for the people who can only care about others as long as they are from an AMERICAN family. They obviously didn't get Jesus' lesson in the parable about the Samaritan. And did you notice from comments on the original blog how some were already profiling her as mexican just from the way she looks? Sad commentary on our society. • <p>Tommy, sorry to inform you and anyone else who cares. Kyleigh is no longer with us. Kyleighs' condition is life support. Her loving and caring American family is in the process of donating her organs. It's not an attempted robbery charge any longer. So lets hope that the police and everyone else can track this sick person down. So that he doesn't hurt any others</p>

• <p>It is with a heavy heart that I let everybody know that Kyleigh passed away last night due to her injuries.</p> <p>I am a friend and live right by her work. I went into her work last night and the mood obviously was very somber.</p> <p>I had been getting updates all day yesterday and the news that she passed came in about 11:00pm.</p> <p>We will all miss you Kyleigh</p>

It's very sad that this young lady was severely injured over the contents of her purse, regardless. </p> <p>Let's hope she recovers quickly and perp is apprehended and dealt with appropriately. Maybe, with a little luck, he will choose to run from a police K9 and he will then experience a small amount of the pain he inflicted on this young lady. Not that I believe in an eye for an eye or anything like that.</p>
