In the words of the late, great Mitch Hedberg, "I love the Fed-Ex guy because he's a drug dealer and he don't even know it."

Unfortunately for a Nebraska woman, the person who delivered a package containing 13 pounds of weed to her home figured out what was being delivered and called police.

Breanna McCall, 20, of Beatrice, Nebraska, was given three years of intensive probation after signing for the pot-filled package.

Beatrice authorities say the person tagged with delivering the package discovered the weed and called police.

The package, which was originally shipped from Phoenix, was delivered to McCall's house, where she made the unfortunate decision to sign for it.

After accepting the package, McCall was arrested and charged with delivery/intent to deliver a controlled substance, and drug possession.

Prosecutors dropped the possession charge as part of a plea deal that required McCall to plead guilty to the delivery charge.

This isn't the first time someone's gotten a little ink for trying to mail weed from Phoenix to their home somewhere in the Mid-west.

Back in March, a man living in a Chicago suburb got busted for trying to mail four pounds of weed to his home in Illinois.

Police in Illinois told New Times that the suspect in that case actually flew to Phoenix, bought the weed, mailed it to himself, and then went back to Illinois to wait for his package.

The package came, but the person delivering it was a cop, and he was arrested.
