Morning Poll: Can the Phoenix Suns Handle the Los Angeles Lakers After Sweeping San Antonio Spurs?

• <p>Here's the poll for Sundays game, if Phoenix allows the Lakers to stay within 5 points before the 4th quart, the Lakers will win. On that note the lakers will win and go on to sweep the suns. Lets just face it, Steve Nash will be another Charles Barkley, as everyone nows that his career ended up in Phoenix, just as well as Nashs will, without a ring. I guess Nash will have to be like the rest, simply go over to the lakers, and you will capture your prize. </p>

• <p>Lets face it, and everybody nows it as well, the sun will always be a team that will never ever reach the finals, not in my life time. What can I say, the suns are just another team that will be watching the LAKERS and there quest for matching the boston celtics for the most championships. I know they need two more, and believe me that will happen. What's this that the LAKERS don't have what it takes to beat the suns, I guess all you sun fans will have another disappointing year as always, and thats in all sports for that matter. I thing you guys are bunch of idiots for even thinking that the suns might have a chance, chance are when one is thinking about changing there underwear, and chances are they won't. That should sum it up for all you suns fans, and remember this, you can't live in the past thinking it will happen again. Chant all you won't in Phoenix, on saying beat L.A., but you now, and I now it history is always written in books. GO LAKERS!!!</p>

• <p>I am a Phoenix suns fan but i do like the lakers. Offensively if the lakers are scoring easy inside baskets they will win but if the suns can stop the guys like Gasol and Bynum they will win. The suns are the best three point shooting team in the league and that's saying something when u look at Boston and Orlando. Nash will have no problem finding Amare 99 percent of the time because no team can stop the pick and roll they have. Kobe is still a great player no doubt about that and Jason Richardson will have a tough time marking him, but he is a better shooter of the ball then Kobe at this point in time just look at the stats. Its gonna be a tight series. suns in six. </p>

• <p>The Sparks will bend over in all angles against the Suns. You might want to get the Lube out so it will be less painful. You will get outplayed by your joke of a bench. Sasha (aka The scrub machine), Farmar (aka elephant ears, AKA DUMBO), Walton (aka over paid mistake), Powell (aka Kwame #2) and then the rest lets just face it they won't see the floor. And last the over paid 30 million dollar 3 and half time NBA Champion Kobe Bryant its just not your year or the next 3 years on your contract</p>

• <p>Tom said that the Mercury have a deep bench..Princess James and his squad were beyond deep in their rotation and guess what (Gone Fishin) Ultimately it gets down to who has the best players out on the court the majority of the time..guess what Taurasi fans..Thats the Lakers. Is Louis serious? ORL has Vince Carter..he means that Half Man- Half Season, Vince Carter?? You have to be serious Louis. Why couldnt the Mercury win that Chuck e Cheez trophy then?? or CLE or ORL..a Champion is a Champion. • <p>The PHX MERCURY are over matched from all angles. We can easily put Kobe (10 time All NBA DEFENDER) on Taurasi through out the series and put D-Fish to chase Richardson around..and we STILL HAVE Ron Ron to body up Amare. I havent even mentioned Pau Gasol AND Andrew Bynum! If the Mercury want to play run and gun on us..we already did that against OKC (gone fishin') if you guys want to play half court offense..we already did that against Utah (gone fishin')Lakers win this one in three...and YES, I know I wrote: "Lakers win this one in three"!</p>

• <p>I see some slippage and inconsistency on that last comment, but what can you say about those LA Sparks (AKA Chucky Cheese champions) last year. I mean Lakers fans think they are all that just because Boston had no Garnett last year and played against an over paid Turkish joke. I mean Orlando has Vince Carter now, come on and better players and the Celtics have a healthy Garnett. And Yao Ming broke his leg which parted the red sea for those (fakers) Lakers rise. I mean, the red carpet couldn't be any brighter. This year the Lakers have to actually earn it. So in my mind Boston is the defending Champs. I'm pulling for Phoenix thats my team. Phoenix in 5. • <p>I think the new law that passed in AZ has people dillusional. The Phoenix Mercur...I mean the Suns can not compete against the Champs! Maybe in the next life time Diana Taur...I mean Steve Nash, maybe in your next life time. </p>

• <p>I don't think any team is going to kick the other teams butt. The suns are a different team now than they were back in january. The lakers have size but not much of a bench and the suns bench has been unbeatable. We just need to play our game and we should be fine.</p>

• <p>Um, well, blind confidence won't make your wishes come true. I am a Suns fan, too, but I think it's silly for anyone to think we will kick the Lakers' butts just as it's silly for Lakers fans to think they'll just roll the Suns over. We are definitely better than most people still realize and I do think the Lakers are a little overrated this year -- but I see no reason to wee why this won't be a competitive series. I really think it could go either way. It'll depend largely on how the match-ups play out and how well our coaching team can manage against Phil Jackson and his coaches.</p>
