Morning Poll -- Human Animal Hybrids: Problem or Paranoia?

One of Arizona's more-laughable pieces of legislation coming out of this year's embarrassing legislative session is a bill that makes it a class-six felony to knowingly create a human/ animal hybrid and a class-one misdemeanor to buy or sell a human-animal embryo.
In other words, anyone who creates a centaur or a ManBearPig is lookin' at some time in the slammer.
Why would Arizona need a bill outlawing the creation of mythical beasts? We have no idea, but a Conservative blog is lending some credibility to Arizona's ass-backwards bill.
Frum Forum, a conservative blog that Stephen Colbert apparently once referred to as "the balls" of the Republican Party, published an article today claiming that while "some Democrats are chuckling at what they believe is a Legislature that has gone out of its skull, but the issue that is being raised is real."
That issue: The growing problem of human/ animal hybrids.
