Two Phoenix Sisters Reported Missing
According to police, the girls, ages 15 and 11, never reported home from school yesterday, but investigators aren't sure if they even made it school.
Police say the girls left their home, near 48th Street and Southern Avenue, in Phoenix and may have gotten on their school bus or a city bus yesterday morning.
About 1 a.m. today., the girls' mother called police to say they hadn't returned home and weren't answering their cell phones.
Police can't confirm whether the girls made it to school because the call came in the middle of the night and the school is closed today.
The older girl, 15-year-old Quiniesha Milton, is reported to have run away from home once before, but the younger of the two, 11-year-old Quiniece Milton, has never been reported as a runaway, police say.
Here's the description of the girls from the Phoenix Police Department:
The 15-year-old, Quiniesha Tatiyana Milton, is a black female, 5'5" tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and long black hair with blonde highlights on her bangs, which she normally wears a ponytail.
The 11-year-old, Quiniece Tayan Milton, is a black female, 5'1" tall, 90 pounds with brown eyes and black shoulder length hair. Quinece also has blonde highlights on her bangs and she also normally wears her hair in a ponytail.
