​A Phoenix man has been arrested and charged with posing as a fertility doctor to molest people while giving them examinations. Jeffrey Graybill, 40, is being held without bond and faces charges including sexual abuse, sexual assault, and identity theft. Police say Graybill advertised online, and offered men up to $4,000 a month for sperm donations...Governor Jan Brewer quashed a proposed bill that would allow liquor sales in the state before 10 a.m. on Sundays. Senator Frank Antenori says the bill was needed to keep the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control in business and that Brewer doesn't like that type of maneuver...An illegal immigrant from Honduras was sentenced to 42 years in prison for two sexual assaults and the attempted kidnapping of a teenage girl. Jose Efrain Gomez-Gomez, 32, was arrested in Phoenix in November 2009, and pleaded guilty to the charges on March 1. Gomez-Gomez was linked to the crimes with DNA evidence...

There will be no liquor sales in Arizona before 10 a.m. on Sundays.
​Officials are waiving entrance fees at Grand Canyon National Park April 17 through April 25. The move is for national parks week, but the offer does not include fees for camping and other activities...Two residents of New River were arrested and charged with animal cruelty after a horse was killed with an injection of pool acid. Laurel George, 54, and John Henkle, 54, face multiple counts of animal cruelty. A 15-year-old male horse was also found on their property, alive but extremely malnourished...A man died after he was shot by police in a confrontation in Scottsdale. Officers were called to a residence near Shea and Scottsdale roads after the man's wife said he was threatening to harm himself with a knife. When officers arrived, the man reportedly advanced on them with the knife, and was shot two times in the torso. He was pronounced dead about three hours later.
