A 94-year-old Mexican woman was arrested at the border near Nogales for allegedly trying to smuggle almost 11 pounds of marijuana into Arizona.
According to authorities, the woman said she was crossing the border for a day of shopping, but agents became suspicious and found bundles of pot taped from her torso to her legs. Agents confiscated the marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $5,250, and turned over the woman to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials...Ryan Coleman, owner of Angel Tattoo, filed a lawsuit against the city of Mesa after his business application was rejected.
The suit alleges that the city denied Coleman's application without any proof that his tattoo shop would be detrimental to the neighborhood.
