After only a few short weeks of "recovery" at a sex-addiction rehabilitation center in Mississippi, it appears Tiger Woods may be cured of his desire to nail everything that moves and is ready to return to the links in about two weeks.

That, like everything else Tiger-related, is the rumor, anyway.

According the Melbourne Herald-Sun and the New York Post, Tiger is planning to make his return to golf at the Accenture Match Play Championship in Tucson in two weeks.

As you may recall, after some "soul searching," Tiger took an "indefinite break" from the sport he revolutionized over the past decade to focus on becoming a better husband and father. That, of course, was after the tabloid reporters' wet-dream known as the Tiger Woods scandal broke, and golf's greatest Lothario was linked to more than a dozen extra-marital affairs.

The Tucson golf course where Tiger reportedly will make his return is the same one where he made his return last year, only under slightly different circumstances.

When Tiger last played at Dove Mountain just outside of Tucson, he was coming off a knee injury that had initially added to Tiger-lore.

Eight months earlier, millions watched as the injured Tiger grimaced his way through 18 painful holes to beat Rocco Mediate in the 2008 U.S. Open.

Tiger, who played through a debilitating knee injury, then took an eight-month break to recover from knee surgery. When he returned to Dove Mountain, he was deemed a hero.

We have a feeling that public sentiment toward Tiger -- for anyone other than the likes of Larry Flynt -- will be a little different this time.
