Phoenix Suns Film Own Version of Avatar on Team Plane; Steve Nash Makes Directorial Debut

Categories: Sports?

We don't expect it to break any box-office records or raise the bar for cinematic genius, but the Phoenix Suns have created their own version of James Cameron's 3-D masterpiece, Avatar, featuring the injured Leandro Barbosa as a blue-faced Na'vi.

We're assuming the team's budget for the film was slightly smaller than the reported $500 million it cost to make the actual Avatar, but the film's director, Steve Nash, can apparently stretch a budget.

Check it out. It's good for a laugh.

Now if the Suns could only figure out a way to create actual nine-foot-tall Avatars for everyone on the team, they might stand a chance against the Spurs in the playoffs.
