Larry Fitzgerald Gets Four of Five Photo-Radar Tickets Dismissed
|The many faces of Larry Fitzgerald's driving record|
We found out today that four of the gridiron great's five photo-radar tickets, which received a fair amount of publicity last month, have been dismissed.
Maricopa County Justice Court spokesman Terry Stewart says the tickets were dismissed by motions of either the prosecutor or arresting officer, and as you can see in the photos, it's obviousr why.
It just so happens that four of the five photos show a white guy driving Fitzgerald's Cadillac Escalade, while speeding down Valley freeways.
As we pointed out in our previous post, unless Fitzgerald, who is black, owns a nerdy white-guy mask that he throws on every time he flies past a speed-cam -- which wouldn't be all that out of the ordinary around Phoenix, where a man in a monkey mask racked up 37 photo-radar tickets before getting caught -- he was probably going to beat the rap.
As for the fifth ticket, which shows a black guy who actually resembles Fitzgerald, Stewart says he isn't sure what will happen with it.
Moral of the story: if you're driving Larry Fitzgerald's car and you're not Larry Fitzgerald, you can go as fast as you freakin' want without worrying about photo-radar cameras.
