A new survey by a Washington-based publisher puts Gilbert and Surprise among the safest cities in the country. The cities were ranked 24th and 27th by CQ Publishers. Faleh Hassan Almaleki could face tougher charges, because his daughter, who was on life-support for more than a week, died...Road access to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon is scheduled to close next week. The Department of Transportation will close State Route 67, the only road still open that provides access to the North Rim. The road is scheduled to open again in May.
