Police say Jose Ephrain Gomez-Gomez, 32, is forensically connected to the assault of two girls and admitted to an attempt to assault a 16-year-old girl, who got away and called police...An off-duty Gilbert police officer helped deliver a baby Monday morning. A man driving his wife to the hospital was forced to pull over and call police when the wife's water broke. Detective Jon Halliday was in the area and went to help. The baby was delivered successfully, weighing in at 10 pounds, and is said to be doing well.
