Iron Mike Tyson will be on Oprah Monday, where he discusses the tragic death of his daughter in his Phoenix home earlier this year, saying he doesn't want to know any details to avoid a potential "problem."

For the sake of every ear in the Valley, let's respect his wishes.

The death was ruled an accidental strangulation after the girl got a cord wrapped around her neck while playing on a treadmill. Tyson tells Oprah he doesn't want to know details because if there is someone to blame, things could turn ugly.

"Because if I know, then there might be a blame for it. And if there's somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem," Tyson tells Winfrey.

When Mike Tyson uses the word "problem," we can probably assume he doesn't mean he plans to key someone's car.

Tyson, who once told Lennox Lewis that he planned to "eat his children," and savagely bit off half of Evander Holyfield's ear, referred to his own daughter as a "little angel" and talked about how he is coping with the loss without using violence.

"I was so happy that I had the tools in life, you know, to not go in that direction because I've been that direction," Tyson tells Oprah. "My family -- that's my biggest asset."

His family is keeping him tame? Considering Tyson lives here in the Valley and we are at the epicenter of his potential child-eating fury, someone should at least buy that family a fruit basket or something.
