New Times staff writer Ray Stern and freelance contributor Rene Gutel to speak at Changing Hands Bookstore tonight.

Two New Times writers will participate in a panel called "Publishing and Getting Paid in the Digital Age" at Changing Hands Bookstore tonight.

The panel will be hosted by KJZZ's Rene Gutel (who is also a frequent contributor to our dining blog Chow Bella). Also in attendance will be New Times staff writer Ray Stern, who runs our Valley Fever blog.

They will be joined by Star Wars novel writer Michael Stackpole, The Zonie Report's Adam Klawonn, and Stefan Shepherd who, in addition to being interviewed for this week's music feature in New Times, maintains a kids' music blog called zooglobble.com.

The educational fun begins at 7 p.m. and is free to attend.
