The two had been communicating via the Internet since May, but the girl was really a Virginia state cop, according to media reports.
After arriving at his destination, Jesse Lee Wise, 25, camped out behind a public library. He was arrested while using one of the library's computers -- just as he was chatting with the undercover officer.
State records show Wise was released from prison in January of 2007 after serving three years for burglary, forgery and trespassing. While behind bars, the Department of Corrections Web site shows, he was disciplined for assault, theft and a "negligent death."
This latest bust seems to show a disturbingly eclectic criminal mind.
