"UFO" Weather Balloon Caught in Telescope Photo

Wired's online site published an excellent photo recently of one of the weather balloons reported by wishful thinkers in the Phoenix area as a potential alien mothership.
In May, we tried to disabuse believers of the idea that a scientific balloon viewed from the ground had extraterrestrial origins. But another balloon floating over the Valley a couple of weeks ago fired up imaginations again.
As commenters to our first balloon-UFO post reveal, it's hard to convince some people these really are balloons. The case should rest on the above picture, taken by Jenny Williams, a contributor to Wired!, through a telescope.

If uforers are nutty when they submit pics of blurry lights, then what are you for asserting that this pic resolves anything? lol
Posted On: Friday, Jun. 19 2009 @ 7:52PMInteresting photo but considering the number of governments which have released ufo files, and the proportion of unexplained sightings. I think one would have to be a pathological skeptic to believe all UFO sightings are weather balloons LOL. In fact UFOs don't require belief, they are a reality. Whether they are of ETI is of course another matter. But I think it's somewhat misleading to say "believers" since UFOs are a real phenomena.

Posted On: Saturday, Jul. 4 2009 @ 10:48AMme and my wife both seen this today i was sittn out side noticed this real bright light in the sky this thing was glowing white i zoomed in on it with a cheap telescope and seen that pic u have posted, it freaked us out
