Worth a quick mention this morning is the post by New York Times writer Jerry Garrett in the Wheels blog about the Valley murder of a speed camera operator.

It seems the murder of Douglas Georgianni can hardly avoid being deemed political:

While the police have not offered a motive for the killing, the circumstances surrounding the death has state officials and photo-enforcement critics pointing their fingers at each other.

correction: Thousands did not march over the week-end from the downtown Wells Fargo to the Tent City / Estrella jail in 100 degree heat for nothing. Jails in lock-down. No visits for inmates. Women inmates crying our for help. Their children in unknown circumstances. Children being arrested because they do not have ID. And this is America? Yes, this is life in America today. This needs independent investigation -- who profits from all this? You might find your answer there-- in the meantime, more will die as life is sinking into a deeper hole in Arizona, corporations and homes built on sinking sand and a house of cards. Unfortunately, people are breaking under the weight of it.
Pointing fingers ... with so many state agencies hunting down the people in Maricopa County in the vast and barren state of Arizona where the population centers around Phoenix a poor city with nothing keeping the area together but Federal money / grants and hand-outs. Daily crime sweeps, hatred, bigotry, racism, is ratcheting up the ante. Big Brother has taken down the people here where injustice is the law and finally this tragic example representing a symbol of what happens when Big Brother has pushed people to the limit. Thousands did not march over the week-end from the downtown Wells Fargo to the Tent City / Estrella jail in 100 degree hit for nothing. When people are treated civilly and with respect you this frustration will go away and be directed toward work and raising families. If families are torn apart and shredded by the government agencies in a "compassionate Christian" state then what is one to expect? The arpaio / thomas culture and their enablers have destroyed the once decent and civil life in Maricopa County Arizona. They are taking people to the breaking point -- and they are who the fingers should be pointed at. They won't be happy until there is all out war and they get ALL of the Homeland Security budget! It's a disgrace and shameful.
Harold, have someone help with your post and re-write it so it makes some kind of sense. At this point you've wasted your time trying to make whatever point you might have.
wasnt this camera Idea Janets??? to make revenue , for AZ. Where did the money go.? the building the permits the license plates for out of state people, the taxes on new building, the taxes on building supplies , the az stadium where did all the money go!!! photo radar is dangerous wait til the cameras blinding light causes a pile up, (or maybe aready has but we never heard it) cars speed up and and brake for the cameras, this is NOT safe.!!! read the great article in the Phoenix New times, about 5 attys in a LLC wont even ahve ticket sent, (becasue of llc) and going 97 mph,
