Former Arizona Real Estate Commissioner Starts Company, Joins AIDS-Fighting Group

In the "where are they now?" category, a former Air Force officer and realtor who served for two years as state real estate commissioner now offers his services as a formulator of "P3" public-private partnerships.

Squeezed out by the new administration, Sam Wercinski recently announced he's joined the 17-member board of directors for the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS. But like any good entrepreneur, he made sure to stick a line at the bottom of his

news release that he's started a company called Wercinkski Entrepreneurs.

We can't tell you whether he can put together a billion-dollar deal, but we do like this picture from his Web site:
