If the court rules that the NHL takeover was legal, it would allow NHL commissioner Gary Bettman to try and cut a deal to keep the team in Glendale. If the ruling goes the other way, it could leave the door open for bidders like Canadian billionaire Jim Basillie to buy (and possibly move) the team...The owner of the Estate Watch and Jewelry Company in Scottsdale chased down a would-be thief and tackled him, recovering a ring worth $9,000 and then letting the suspect go. The suspect, Douglas Vigil, was later arrested by police...The former publicist for Michael Jackson is suing the pop star for $44 million, saying  he never paid her for her services.  A spokesman for Jackson couldn't be reached for comment.
