The Maricopa Medical Center and Banner Hospitals are among the health care facilities restricting visitors for the duration of the swine flu outbreak. It's nothing dramatic -- just an extension of seasonal flu guidelines put in place each year. They include:

*No hospital visits at all by kids under 12. (Kids as patients are still welcome, of course).

*Asking people who are sick with a cough, runny nose, fever or sore throat to stay home.

The Maricopa facility, the state's only public hospital, is also limiting visits to two adults per patient. Patients suspected of having the flu must wear surgical masks outside of patient rooms, officials said.
