University of Arizona will hire hire Tim Floyd as the new head basketball coach for the Wildcats, Ktar.com reports. Floyd was most recently head coach at USC...Phoenix Suns General Manager Steve Kerr indicated he'll bring Alvin Gentry back as the team's head coach, and that some roster changes might be made this summer to reduce the team's payroll...Tiffany Hecker, 21, plead guilty to second-degree murder in the drowning of her newborn child more than two years ago. The Mesa woman faces up to 27 years in prison...The St. Johns boy who plead guilty to negligent homicide in the deaths of his father and another man has a status conference set for this afternoon. While he awaits sentencing, his defense team is fighting for him to be able to continue his education...Police have named a possible accomplice to Mark Goudeau, the prime suspect in the Baseline Killer crimes. Godeau's suspected accomplice is Terry Wayne Smith, currently in prison on charges unrelated to the Baseline Killer case...A ballpark in Grand Prairie, Texas will have an "Octomom Night" in honor of Nadia Suleman's octuplets, which will include stroller races and a game called "Guess How Many Buns Are in My EZ Bake Oven."  No word yet on whether or not Suleman will show to play "Guess How Many Angry Taxpayers Want to Kick My Unemployed Ass."
