Tattooed White Supremacist Suspect Recently Finished 10-Year Prison Sentence

Categories: News

chad kerns.jpgWith a face full of tattoos like these, you're looking for trouble no matter where you go.

Which made us wonder when we saw this picture of suspected white supremacist stabber Chad Kerns that Phoenix police e-mailed yesterday to the news media: Where does this guy hang out?

Okay, maybe he could go to the mall if he wore a hat, but broadcasting the fact that you like Nazis on your forehead seems to be publicly acceptable, well -- nowhere.

Except in prison.

Which is exactly where Kerns has been for the last 10 years.

Arizona Department of Corrections records show Kerns served a 10-year sentence from May of 1998 to May of this year for armed robbery.

The guy was 20 when he committed the crime -- just another mixed-up young punk. After 10 years in the slammer, where he was apparently comfortable within the support structure of a white power gang, Kerns spent just a few months of freedom in the Valley before getting in trouble again.

Looks like he'll be going back home soon, where he can show his face with pride. -- Ray Stern

He was judged by authorities by the way he looks but was sentenced bc of his wonderful co defendants. I hope they're all enjoying their life from their plea agreements..

My husband is good friends with Chad.

All I'm going to say is don't judge a book by its cover.  Chad is good people, no matter what he looks like or what he did.

look at his tatoos thats the only thing he got out of 10 years in prision. 10 yours is long time for idle hands. This state failed this youngman who had no chance but to adapt to his surroundings and attempt to blend in to prison society, think about it when your on jury duty the next time. Not everyone in prison is guilty and not everyoe in scottsdale is innocent.

The Odinist Cross on his throat is a nice touch - really exemplifies his religious convictions (ooppss, didn't mean to say conviction). I am sure he a wonderful husband, dedicated father and an altar boy. He probably spent any free time out of prison doing charity work and helping little old ladies across the street. Unfortunately, judge a book by the cover is all the public has to go on. That and his criminal record, which I am sure he was innocent of or at worst was provoked into committing the crime by someone else or your great disclaimer that he was only a "Kid" at the time. Kids don't spend 13 years in prison for a crime. "Kids" go to Juvenile detention centers. They say that the truth will set you free, oddly enough sometimes the truth will put you in prison. Best of Luck Danielle, life is short and children grow fast - how will you and your child(ren) spend your life - waiting for Daddy/Hubby to come home? Or moving forward by putting the life or lives you created as your priority, not a future with the possibility of parole. I am hoping the light goes on for you before the hour glass runs out of sand.

You may be high on something (I'm guessing meth). So let me correct you. It is not "good" to be going out there and stabbing people or committing armed robberies. He's dangerous and deserves to be locked up like a caged animal.

id rather judge him by his actions...and if he stabbed someone, hes not good people...sorry

@ghostinthesystem17 While I think this is a hopeless viewpoint I tend to follow it anyway. And it's quite good to see someone else who not only thinks instead of following but speaks instead of simply watching. Many good days upon you sir.

You can have all the opinions in the world from what u read.. everyone does. But to judge someone, u have to know them. And u don't know chad at all.. nor does anyone else. He ain't no saint, none of us are. He's done a lot of wrongs in his life.. but that doesn't change the fact that he was on a good path before he got thrown into prison. My son doesn't know his daddy like he should. But we have moved foward, I have moved on.. and I hope nothing but the best for him. Everyone just needs to take a look at their own lives and make changes before surfing the internet trying to make corrections on others.

He's about 50 pts short of a normal IQ, which probably makes him a genius in your eyes.
