Andrew Thomas Fired as County Attorney on Civil Matters by Board of Supervisors

• <p>a little off topic, but did anyone notice joe used the same commercial featuring john walsh he used the last election? if indeed it was the same commercial, i wonder if he had permission, you'd hope that walsh had done some research on the greasy bastard he endorsed last go around. <br /> </p>

He's learned from Arpaio how to destroy future opponents. After Stapley and the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved Thomas and Arpaio's PR / advertising budget, then Team Arpaio / Thomas were free to go after Stapley. What should be criminal is using millions of taxpayer dollars for Arpaio and Thomas to build name recognition like a "brand" at taxpayers expense. Though people complained the MCBOS turned a deaf ear to the taxpayers -- now the MCBOS can see for themselves what the public outcry is about.</p> <p>Quite simply, Thomas is clearing out anyone who might give him any competition. We are not fooled by him. His lack of character is breathtaking.</p>

People have to be stupid to allow Thomas and Arpaio to run the state and county. Where is the FBI and the DOJ? And the Governor?</p>

• <p>I want to share what a bit of irony this must be for the Board of Supervisors. When the victims of Thomas and arpaio are the 'little people with brown skin' in Guadalupe and other parts of Maricopa County, the BOS, again minus Mary Rose, didn't seem to care. NOW, however, that one of them is targeted, with more to come - I am sure, they suddenly see arpaio and Thomas for the thugs they really are. Honestly, I have no sympathy for the Merry Band Of Bozos known as the Board of Supervisors. They've been shown and seen, many times over, how the bully works.</p> <p>Now they are having to defend themselves against arpaio and his band of infantile misfits. </p> <p>I think this is going to play out as one of those great examples of reciprocity - what goes around comes around. While the Board was sitting behind the counter and watching the blatant violations of basic constitutional rights of citizen and visitors to our country, they - with Mary Rose as the lone exception, didn't really seem to care. Now, however, it seems they are running scared. </p> <p>Let's see if the BOS has the brass to take on the Terrible Twosome from Jefferson. </p>

• <p>arpaio and Thomas have only to look in the mirror to find two of the most corrupt politicians in the country, not the county, the WHOLE damn country. </p> <p>By the way, let's send arpaio a message:</p> <p>Find another swan song, you wrinkled piece of pigeon droppings. This, "I am not intimidated..." is well worn out. Say something creative like, "we are concerned about our relationship with the Board of Supervisors and we will work diligently to improve that relationship". Oh, wait, I am talking about arpaio and Thomas, after all. </p> <p>Talk about the proverbial wind bag. arpaio personifies the term to the nth degree. </p>

• <p>Sheriff Joe wants to root out corruption??? He can start with the MCSO, then move the County Attorney's Office. That should keep him busy for the duration of his term!</p>

But it in the end, I hate to admit it, but it looks like Sheriff Dirty Joe will win this one. The BOS has done nothing to show that they have control over anything, much less over the MSCO.<br /> I say, let them fight it out.</p>
