Peach Kelli Pop is scheduled to perform Monday, March 11, at Trunk Space.
Holy crap! What a weekend. We had the soggy but stellar Carnaval Eléctrico with Cold War Kids, Hanni El Khatib, Mergence, and more at Crescent Ballroom, the raucous Rampage Fest with Nü Sensae, White Lung, Allah-Las, and more at Sail Inn, and a thoroughly enjoyable but exhausting performance by Matt & Kim at Marquee Theatre.

But such is the glory of SxSW runoff here in the 480/602. There's more this week, believe it or not: Kool A.D. of Das Racist's new hardcore band, Party Animal, future pop act Ruby Suns, psychedelic Tucson-based road warriors Saint Maybe, and more. Read 'em and weep, babies: Top Five Must-See Shows This Week. -- Jason P. Woodbury

Destruction Unit is scheduled to perform Monday, February 25, at Yucca Tap Room in Tempe.
It's only the end of February, but I'm convinced I've already heard one of the best albums of 2013. Destruction Unit's new LP, the six-song mind eraser Void, debuts locally on Monday, February 25, when the band takes the stage at the Yucca Tap Room. The band's been getting some high-profile recognition from outlets like Pitchfork, Brooklyn Vegan, and Impose Magazine. Spinning opening track "Evil Man," it's easy to hear why. The band tops our list of Must-See Shows This Weekend. Read on for more, including sci-fi proggers Coheed and Cambria, dance punkers Doctor Bones, and the farewell gig for one of the Valley's best hip-hop DJs. -- Jason P. Woodbury

Graveyard is scheduled to perform Tuesday, February 19, at Crescent Ballroom.
The weekend is over, and it's back to the grind. You sit there despondent at your desk, visions of a wild weekend replaying your head, scenes from A Good Day to Die Hard -- which you caught a sick matinee showing of -- bouncing around your cranium. How can you get back to that blissful state? Go see some shows. There's plenty of them going down this week in Phoenix, from the classic old-school hip-hop of Rakim to the bluesy boogie metal of Sweden's Graveyard. Check 'em out, our Top Five Must-See Shows This Week.

For every up there's a down. It's like reading the awesome news that Elton John plays on the new Queens of the Stone Age record the same day you read Christina Applegate is leaving NBC's Up All Night.. Bummer! So here's the bad news: It's Monday, which is the worst. But some good, too: There's some great shows this week in Phoenix.

So here you are: the top five must-see shows in Phoenix this week.

Pastries With Teeth is scheduled to perform Thursday, February 7, at the Sail Inn in Tempe.
It's the Monday after the big game, which means you're back at the office, standing around the water cooler listening to your most annoying co-worker recreate his favorite Super Bowl commercial in vivid, poorly-acted detail.

Excruciating, right?

No fear. 5 o'clock is on its way, and this week brings a whole bunch of great concerts to the 480/602. We've rounded them up, so bite your lip and let him keep rambling on about that Doritos advert: Here's our Top Five Must-See Shows This Week in Phoenix.
