"Are you under the impression this isn't your life? Do you dabble in depression, is someone twisting a knife in your back?"

Well, don't worry, "Wilco will love you, baby." And babies, you loved you some Wilco, even if they didn't play "Wilco (The Song)" or "(I Got You) at the End of the Century" Saturday night at Gammage.

We won't take it personally, since Wilco's huge setlist that included favorites like "Hummingbird," "Shot in the Arm," and "Heavy Metal Drummer," complete with Jeff Tweedy's signature hummingbird dance.

We reviewed the gig, and took a ton of pictures of the band and fans, but don't just rely on our word, here's what the people have to say on Twitter.

Remember to follow us @phxmusicdotcom, and tweet at us to discuss.

@RachelRayner Me, to stranger: "So, you came here via Chicago?" Stranger: *misses Wilco reference* Me: *loses interest*

@kevinkmiller 3 months ago,I was surprised when Wilco sold out Gammage in 4 minutes. After seeing them tonight,I'm surprised it took so long! Amazing show!

@chelseapatel Listening to the Wilco tracks they didn't play on the drive home. #soweakitshard

@musicloverchick So I really liked the Wilco show, G thought they were "OK"n but 1st Phoenix crowd I've ever seen that stood the entire show. But it is Phx.

@jlothner I've seen some pretty amazing things in my life, but until you've seen a Nels Cline solo at a @wilco show, you haven't lived. #facemeltedoff

@ckostrivas Tweedy running in place on stage :) #wilco

@jlcieslak I think 75% of the people I know are at Gammage right now. #wilco

Fat Mike (NOFX)

It was somewhat of a surprise that NOFX sold out last night's Marquee Theatre show at the very last minute. In spite of Fat Mike's poo problems and outspoken attitude toward our city, we welcomed the band with open arms and screamed along to the songs as if our lives depended on it.

To top off our review and slideshow, where's what fans had to say about the show on Twitter.

The cynical among us (ahem) might view Sting's "Back to Bass" tour as a way to cash in on The Police experience without having to deal with the other two guys who make The Police so awesome.

But we're the critics? What did you, the loyal reader have to say about last night's Comerica Theatre show?

@URaverageguy71 Sting killed at comerica theatre...thanks kim!

@AzfloGking #Sting was awesome at Comerica Theatre 2nite!

@JayCarpenter Sting at Comerica. "Every Little Thing" I is indeed magic!

Morning Light Rail Commuters Share Their Tunes With NewTimes

Joe Chavez of Phoenix listening to music on his commute Friday morning on the Light Rail.
These days, people are plugged in like The Matrix -- only they're plugged into their iPods, smart phones, and mp3 players rather than machines on an underground ship. Our detachment from the real world is never as obvious as when strangers are jumbled together in a public space.

And this especially holds true when it comes to public transportation.

Although you may be sitting elbow-to-elbow with a person on either side of you, a form of escapism lies within reach -- in your chosen soundtrack. And sometimes, folks are curious to know what their fellow passengers are listening to. So Up on the Sun rode the Light Rail from Phoenix to Tempe (and back) during Friday's morning commute, asking music listeners, "What song are you listening to?"

There was a huge variety in music taste as well as in the individual passenger portraits. Stay tuned for a list of suggested songs for the ride.

You've never danced your ass off harder than you thought you ever could until you've been to a Girl Talk concert.

Everyone at the Marquee Theatre was going nuts throughout Greg Gillis' entire set. Gillis kept up with the crowd's energy and nearly exceeded it as he kept the remixes coming.

Read our review here or read on to get the scoop on what concertgoers thought of the crazily intense show...

Follow us on Twitter and friend us on Facebook.

@kaylamckinney: Girl Talk concert: The only place where you can scream "pop that p*ssy" at the top of your lungs without any fear of someone hitting you.

@KA23A: So apparently being at Girl Talk is a better work out than working out to Girl Talk. I'm talking to you Squaw Peak.

@pandabot5000: Holy shit. #girltalk @danceparty

Tempe Beach Park was alive with green last night.

Flogging Molly made their annual stop in Arizona to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, playing a show heavy on Irish ballads played at maximum speed, witty Celtic banter and plenty of toasts to their Arizona fans.

The band showcased songs from their new album, Speed of Darkness, but peppered the set liberally with old favorites.

The crowd was made up of folks from nearly all walks of life, a fact Twitter users noted, along with reports of bushes set on fire, comments on the set and of course references to that ever-flowing green beer.

P-Nut and Nick hovering above the stage
Not many can throw down at the Marquee Theatre quite like Omaha alternative band 311 did last night at their completely packed show. They rocked everyone's faces off, and they had everyone jumping around and singing at the top of their lungs.

The band was all about sharing their high energy and extreme positivity with the crowd a few months before their annual summer Unity Tour will kick off.

Read what 311 fans had to say about the show, and check out our review here:

@brodElla311: 311 BABY! 311-3-3-11!!!!!
