Andrew Jackson Jihad to Perform a Surprise Set at Trunk Space on Sunday
A very special guest will make surprise appearance at the Trunk Space during one of this weekend's editions of its ongoing Indie 500 concert series, and it's someone that fans the Grand Avenue venue are intimately familiar with.

Namely, Andrew Jackson Jihad.
The band, which has been getting love from the indie music inteligencia lately for new songs like "Children of God" and "Kokopelli Face Tattoo" (both off their upcoming release Christmas Island), will make a return to the D.I.Y. venue where they got their start a decade ago for a special performance on Sunday evening.
Indie bands Run on Sunshine, Novi Split, Fireswamp, and Affirmative Action Figure will also appear at the show, which starts at 3:30 p.m.
Although Trunk Space co-owners Stephanie Carrico and JRC have tried to keep Andrew Jackson Jihad's appearance under wraps, it's sort of been the worst kept secret around the venue lately.
Their online calendar even drops major hints that the band will be there, stating that a "special guest" is on Sunday's lineup and the providing a link to a YouTube video of AJJ's Sean Bonnette and Ben Gallaty performing.
