You might wanna cut out the smokes Robin, it's bad for the singing voice.
Maybe it's just us, but does Robin Thicke have something against the Valley? The R&B/pop singer's spokespeople announced this morning that his concert at the Phoenix Convention Center, which was originally scheduled to take place tomorrow night, has been canceled.

So if you wanted to sing along with "Blurred Lines" on Wednesday you're going to be doing it either by your lonesome in the car or at the nearest bar offering a hump day karaoke session.

Thicke's nixing of tomorrow night's gig is the second time in six months that he's pulled out of a performance here in Phoenix at the last moment. Back in October, the son of Alan Thicke was scheduled to headline one of the twice-yearly Arizona Jazz Festivals down in Chandler only to cancel mere hours before his performance, reportedly "due to an illness."

Bummed out Thicke fans who bought tickets to the festival last fall got a makeup date set for this week, which was cancelled thanks to issues with the singer's voice.

Per the press release sent out earlier today: "Robin Thicke has cited vocal troubles as the reason for canceling his Blurred Lines Tour date that was scheduled to take place Wednesday, March 26 at the Phoenix Convention Center."

It is unknown if there will be a second makeup date for the performance. As per usual with cancellations, refunds are available at the point of purchase.

We feel bad for Thicke fans, as well as local promoter BTW Concerts (which booked both shows), and wonder -- again -- if the singer's got a beef with Phoenix. Is it our politicians or something with the heat? Perhaps our women aren't up to snuff for the notorious lothario, or maybe our town ain't as stylish as say, Indio, California, where he'll perform this weekend at the prestigious Fantasy Springs Casino.

What gives, Robin?

It's probably because presales are shitty, bands do that all the time and say "due to illness" or wherever. Maybe PHX doesn't give a fuck
