McDowell Mountain Music Festival 2013 Announces Local Lineup Featuring Kongos, Fayuca, and More

Kongos are scheduled to perform Friday, March 22, as part of McDowell Mountain Music Festival 2013.
McDowell Mountain Music Festival's 2013 lineup, featuring The Shins, The Roots, Deer Tick, Les Claypool's Duo de Twang, and more, has expanded to include a host of local Phoenix-based acts. The weekend festival will now Kongos, Mergence, Banana Gun, Fayuca, The Veragroove, Yellow Minute, Decker, and Jared and The Mill, as well as Tucson-based jam band Top Dead Center, performing at one of the festivals after parties at Crescent Ballroom.

The festival marks a change of location from previous years. After the closing of The Compound, organizers took the opportunity to try out a new space, settling into Phoenix's historic Margaret T. Hance Park, with after parties hosted at Crescent Ballroom.
