Club Candids: iji at The Trunk Space
The Trunk Space is a fun place to check out music and casually hang out. The intimate location has a welcoming vibe thanks to friendly regulars and the bands that play so close to the crowd. Winter is officially here, so the espresso bar definitely comes in handy on cold nights.
We snapped some shots of the bundled masses for this week's edition of Club Candids.
iji, from across the room
iji's show on Thursday, December 27 felt like even more of a family affair than usual. Between sets, frontman Zach Burba shook hands with fans and conversed with his friends and family. The audience was ecstatic to see iji and showed their support by dancing throughout most of the band's set. Dogbreth, Diners and Young Shoulder rounded out this fun line up.
The audience was a good mix of The Trunk Space's regular crowd as well as folks who came out to support local music. Jackets and scarves were rivaled only by high fives and thumbs ups.
