The quickly expanding lineup of McDowell Mountain Music Festival 2013 has added two more big names to the roster: The Shins and Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeroes.

The 2013 installment of the festival is looking to have the most impressive lineup in MMMF history, as The Shins and Sharpe join The Roots, Les Claypool's Duo de Twang, Dr. Dog, The Heartless Bastards, Balkan Beat Box, Yonder Mountain String Band, Deer Tick, and JGB for a series of shows and afterparties at Marget T. Hance Park and the Crescent Ballroom in March.

Sharpe and his band of miscreants played the festival in 2011. Vocalist Jade Castrinos stormed off the stage, and frontman Alex Ebert made some strange, confusing statements in reaction to Osama Bin Laden getting killed that night, but the band typifies the kind of sounds McDowell Mountain Music Fest unites: vaguely hippie folk on one hand, indie appeal on the other.

The Shins announce their stop at the festival hot on the heels of releasing a hilarious promotional video for their Record Store Day exclusive 7", 'No Way Down' (Swift Sessions), available exclusively at indie record stores like Revolver, Zia, and Stinkweeds on Black Friday.

So let's recap that lineup while you figure out how to tweet the song:

Yikes, clearly remember that weird/rough beginning the zeros had. I feel pretty iffy about this whole lineup. It will be cool to see all of that bands I've been meaning to see in one week, but MMMF certainly will not be the same anymore. RIP chill fest
