Eric Clapton, Clay Aiken, and More Just Announced Shows

Categories: Announcements

Once, twice, three times an...Eric Clapton.
"All I want for Christmas is Clay Aiken tickets,"...said no music lover ever. But hey, if paradoxical pop icons who owe their celebrity to American Idol is your thing, you're in luck. Aiken will be bringing his brand of...whatever it is he's a part of these days to Ovations Live! Showroom at Wild Horse Pass on Thursday, December 20.

For those of us with the necessary taste, coin, and/or the right connections, Eric Clapton, possibly the greatest guitar player on the planet, will be hitting US Airways Center with The Wallflowers on Thursday, March 14. As if Clapton wasn't cool enough. And you might remember The Wallflowers. It's fronted by Jacob Dylan, son of another living legend, Bob. What they've been up to since 1996's Bringing Down The Horse? Well, you'll just have to catch the show to find out.

My Voice Nation Help

Well, I certainly asked for Clay Aiken tickets for Christmas, and will get them early on Dec. 8th, when he comes to Shippensburg, Pa.

We never miss his tours, and will drive almost 5 hours for this one. Absolutely fantastic voice, and hilarious personality.   Can't imagine anyone not enjoying seeing and hearing him live.

Please get a ticket and see for yourself!!

Unsure what "music lovers" you are talking about -- they've evidently never heard Clay Aiken sing.  Trying to be cool?  Well, you are not.  You are a music critic?  If so, one who needs his ears checked.  If you don't like Clay Aiken's music, okay -- fine.  However, he has a pitch perfect voice and can sing anything.  How about you checking out a concert sometime -- you know -- actually listening to this man sing live before showing your ignorance.  Auto-tune is the name of the game today for most pop "stars" -- something not needed by Mr. Aiken ever.  He is also a very funny, snarky, and witty guy who not only sings but keep his audiences entertained.  Check out his Timeless Tour on youtube or his Tried and True tour last year.

I've got tickets for the Clay Aiken concert and I can't wait!! I've seen him before and not only is his voice perfection, he is very witty and entertaining as well. This is a concert not to be missed :)

Oh, and Mr. Noel, your immaturity is showing..too cool for school, huh?

Mr. Noel...How disappointing to read this blog about upcoming acts in your area.

I do not know ONE reviewer that has ever said that Clay Aiken isn't one of the best singers around.  Now, if you don't like his style, that is fine, but really, I would imagine you have never heard him sing.  Since this is his 9th tour and his starring roll on Broadway on Broadway was praised by all, Clay does just fine.  Obviously, he is secure enough to do his job without putting people down...too bad I can't say the same about you!

Don't diss someone until you've heard them. Clay Aiken has an amazing voice, one praised by studio mixers who say he's pitch perfect and doesn't need any auto tune at all.  In other words,

the man can actually sing, unlike the manufactured pop stars out there now.

Oh, and Pat Metheny is the THE greatest guitar player ever.  18 Grammys and winning dozens and dozens of music polls can't be wrong.  Another one you really should check out.

Now, go get your ticket to Clay's show, because you obviously don't know what you're talking about.  And you're a music critic???

I can't wait for Clay Aiken's christmas concert to hit all the venues including yours.  Nobody does christmas like Clay Aiken.  This will be Clay's 5th Christmas tour and they have all be wonderful.  You should do your homework.  Clay has one of the best voices out there and his christmas tours, especially, are magnificant.

Well if you love great singing to get you in the Christmas Spirit you'll love the Clay Aiken concert.  I will be there with bells on.

Is it really necessary to diss the artist in your promotion?  Really reflects more on your to kool for school attitude then it does on Clay.
