When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? Is it boring if i say NPR? Yes, I am an NPR junkie (especially Science Friday, Car Talk and Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!), however, I also love classic music.

What's the first album you bought? George Michael, Ladies & Gentlemen.

What's the first concert you saw? Pink Martini in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. Absolutely amazing like their songs and tunes.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? It has to be Ludovico Einaudi. If you don't know him, you have to check him out. He is a wonderful Italian pianist and composer whose songs have such an amazing emotional element to them. He tours the U.S. a lot, and his concerts are often very small and intimate. Beautiful memories.

What's the last song played on your music player? "Besame Mucho," by Andrea Bocelli. Yes, for real.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? CD, and preferably not labeled. I like surprises.

What's your favorite album? That's difficult. I am very greedy and can't just have one favorite. However, I would say one of my favorites is Frank (B-Sides), by Amy Winehouse. Absolutely amazing.

Who is your favorite singer or band? I have a very eclectic taste for music. I can go from instrumental to pop, from jazz to rock. It really depends, but one of my favorites is Mina, a woman who would later be affectionately called La Tigre Di Cremona (The Tiger from Cremona) and one of the most popular and influential post-war Italian artists born in 1940. Her albums (she has many) are just magical.

Does you computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? I didn't even know it could track that. Well, now I know it is "Giovinette Che Fate L'amore" from the opera Don Giovanni by Mozart. How cheesy.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from the past year? Overpowered, by Roisin Murphy.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "Lover, You Should've Come Over," by Jeff Buckley.

Who is your favorite local artist? Radio Crimes, whose singer, Alex Empty, is also one of the most talented tattoo artists in town.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Crescent Ballroom, hands down!

What is your favorite music video? "Express Yourself," by Madonna -- perfect!
